Great location for a classic property. One of the few left in downtown Phoenix. I'm the middle of the action with A Mexican restaurant and an Irish Pub both downstairs. Rooms are quaint but showers and toilet are low pressure old fashioned. Bed is comfortable for an old style mattress.

You can't beat the location to the conference center and the downtown restaurants. Also the staff was super helpful and kind my entire stay. The only issue I had was with the room and the facilities. It's very much dated, I felt like I was staying in a Grandparents home, like a Boomer's parents home, which didn't feel like a hotel. My room did have an iron and a coffee maker but no stopper for the bathtub. The pool was under construction at the time of my visit. The wifi also went in and out and was not dependable, which seems like an easy fix and an annoying inconvenience. Overall I wouldn't stay there again unless every hotel within walking distance of the conference center was booked. However it was five minutes to the conference center which was really great after a long day.

Definitely a historical building and location. The rooms and furniture could use some upgrading, though I get they're trying to provide a nostalgic setting. The beds and pillows were not on point though, very hard! We stayed in the Clark gable room, that was kind of cool to read about his time spent there and know we were staying in that same room.

Aight so we stayed here 1 night. The aesthetic was cool had a very old school vibe. It looks nice and classy but it is an old building and it shows once you get into the rooms. The toilet is unique but also dosnt have a tank so that was strange, the beds are old and rickety, it smells old and musty, the shower was unusable. Basically you turn the shower on and it’s fine for about 1 minutes then scolding hot water no matter what temp you turn it to, mine would fluctuate from boiling to reasonable, my coworkers was pure lava the entire time. Call it old pipes or whatever it was not usable. The listings advertise AC well sure they may have AC but you can’t control the temperature in any of the rooms yourself. There’s a fan that you can turn off on but that’s about it.

There's no free parking at the holet and we found dead Roaches in our bed Also rooms are very small. But the service lady was very nice. But do not Recommend sleeping here or staying not worth your money

Nice spot. Would prefer more modern features like a bigger sink but it's not type of hotel. Great service and great location though.

Staff was very nice, can't beat the location, the room, especially the bathroom is small but that's to be expected with a historical building. Unfortunately pool was closed which I didn't know about before my stay.

Lovely experience front desk lady name Audrey was very helpful! Was able to answer all my questions that was asked! People kept asking about the pool but if you see on their booking website or Expedia it says pool is under renovation until 2025! Thank you so much Audrey for all the help! Will definitely be going back thanks to her
